Bethany Hamilton Sandvik is the Founder and Director of Studio Theatre at CCPA. Her play, "The Cody Monologues: Famous & Infamous Women of the West" ran for six seasons in Cody, Wyoming and won a 2017 Honorable Mention from the Wyoming Historical Society. A monologue from the show was also selected as one of the "Best Women's Monologues" of 2019 by the True Acting Institute. She has been a playwright, director, performer and performing arts educator for two decades in Cleveland, OH and Cody, WY. Sandvik holds a BA in Communications/Theatre from Allegheny College and an MS in Arts Management from Drexel University. She was Drama Coach at Cody High School from 2011 - 2018 and served on the Board of the Wyoming Educators for Secondary Theatre for four years. Sandvik is a member of the Dramatist Guild of America and sits on the Board for the Park County Arts Council.
