Play in a Day, Jr.
June 4; 9 am - 3:30 pm (Ages 6 - 10) FREE
Imagine creating an entire play in only one day! That’s just what we’ll do! From auditions in the morning to a performance for friends and family at 3 pm, we will prove to you that it can be done (and that it can be great!) This class is sponsored in part by the Wyoming Arts Council
Performing Arts Camp
June 15 - 18; 9 am - 3 pm (Ages 7 - 13) $25
It’s our annual Performing Arts Camp where we create our own original production on Monday and perform for our family and friends on Thursday. Students learn a variety of theatre arts including acting, design, makeup, movement, voice and more. Performance is June 18 at 3 pm at CCPA. This class is sponsored in party by the Wyoming Arts Council.
Play in 2 Days
July 7 & 8; 9 am - 2 pm (Rising 6 - 9 graders) FREE
Just like our popular Play in Day class, but this one is just for middle schoolers. Over the course of the class, students will immerse themselves in theatre arts and present a play for friends and family at 3 pm on July 8. This class is sponsored in part by the Wyoming Arts Council.
FREE Classes & Programs for Youth and Adults
Dance Stars: Tuesdays, 2:30 - 3:15 pm
Dance Stars is a fun and inclusive dance class designed specifically for adults with special needs. In this class, you’ll explore creative movement and discover the joy of dance in a supportive, safe and encouraging environment. Learn basic dance skills at your own pace, focusing on coordination, rhythm, and having fun! Gain confidence in your body and abilities through positive reinforcement and celebrating your individuality. Connect with other amazing dancers and form lasting friendships in a welcoming and inclusive community. Dance Stars is perfect for adults with special needs who want to experience the joy of dance. Dancers of all abilities who thrive in a supportive and understanding environment. Anyone who loves music and wants to move their body! No prior dance experience is necessary.
